Streamline bulk mail data entry with
digital scales
Adding digital scales to
your mailroom system will significantly improve data entry speed. When
processing mail or freight articles you can either enter the weight of articles manually
or you may wish to use any of the digital
scales supported by the Mail Management System (Comet). Supported models
include Pitney-Bowes, Toledo and Weightronix. The
interface to the scales is completely configurable so that if you are
using a type of scales that is not catered for it is a simple matter
to interface it.
To further enhance mailroom
data entry speed, bulk mail items of the same weight may be processed by
setting the software to weigh one item. The total weight is then
calculated by entering the number of items of the same weight.
